The British Heart Foundation

Here’s Why...

With so many men affected by heart disease in its various forms, the team at Enclothed wanted to help raise awareness of heart disease amongst our male customers, and equally encourage men to donate any unwanted clothes to the British Heart Foundation.
Currently, on average, BHF charity shops are holding around 90% women's clothing and only 10% men's. So, in a bid to help change that, we now include our co-branded BHF/Enclothed tote bags in all of the boxes we send out to our customers, to fill with their unwanted clothes.
Recent studies by The British Heart Foundation found that 2.3 million people are living with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) in the UK, with over 60% of this number being male. CHD is one of the UK’s leading causes of death, and occurs when a build-up of atheroma causes the walls of the coronary arteries to narrow. The pain caused by this is called angina and if a blockage occurs it can cause a heart attack.
The British Heart Foundation collect the donations directly from the Enclothed warehouse; giving our customers a completely hassle-free way to donate clothes, as they buy clothes.
